I’m excited to introduce Dual View Mode — a new feature that lets you play two videos together in sync.
Dual View Mode makes it easy to compare two videos side by side or top and bottom in real time. It’s perfect for before/after comparisons, video editing checks, color grading comparisons, motion analysis, and more.
How to Use Dual View Mode
- Open the video options menu
- Select Play with Another Video
- Choose the second video
That’s it — both videos will start playing together in sync.
Customization options
Dual View Mode includes several customization options:
- Change video scale mode
- Switch between side-by-side or top/bottom layouts
- Choose which video audio to play
This gives you full control over how you compare your videos.
Dual View Mode currently supports only videos that can be decoded natively by your device hardware.
In practice, this should not be a major limitation, as modern Android devices already support a wide range of popular video formats.
