Have you ever watched a video where the volume is simply too low, even after turning your device's volume all the way up? Whether it's an old movie, a quiet recording, or poorly normalized audio, it can make the viewing experience frustrating.
That's why I built Audio Boost for Unifium.
Boost Volume Up to 200%
With Audio Boost enabled, you can increase the player volume all the way to 200%. The first 100% behaves like the normal volume control, while the boost effect starts when the volume exceeds 100%. For example:
- 0–100%: Standard playback volume.
- 101–200%: Audio boost is applied, making quiet videos significantly louder.
This gives you extra headroom when your device's maximum volume isn't enough.
How to Enable Audio Boost
Enabling the feature only takes a few seconds:
- Open a video in Unifium.
- Open the All Player Action dialog.
- Select Audio Boost.
- Adjust the volume slider up to 200%.
Once the slider goes beyond 100%, the boost effect is automatically applied.
Audio Boost is especially useful for:
- Quiet movies or TV shows
- Old recordings with low audio levels
- Videos downloaded from the web with inconsistent volume
- Listening in noisy environments when your device's maximum volume isn't sufficient
Keep in mind that excessive amplification may introduce distortion depending on the source audio, so the best experience is to use only as much boost as needed.
