One-Time Setup (If Needed)
Before using Private Videos, you need to grant Unifium access to a folder on your device. This is required due to Android’s storage security model.
You will be prompted to choose a folder. It is recommended to select the Movies folder.
Unifium will then create a hidden subfolder inside it to store your private videos
No further setup is needed after this step.
How to Add a Video to Private Folder.
- Open Unifium
- Browse to the video you want to protect
- Tap on the video options (menu)
- Select “Add to private videos”
- The video will be encrypted and moved to the secure private folder
Unifium will ask whether you want to keep the original video or delete it
This gives you full control over storage and duplication.
How to Access Your Private Videos
To view your protected content:
- Open Unifium
- Go to Settings
- Tap Private Videos
- Complete authentication (PIN / pattern / biometrics if enabled)
- Access and play your private videos
Make a Private Video Public Again
You’re always in control.
To restore a video back to normal:
- Open Private Videos
- Select the video
- Choose “Make video public”
The video will be moved back and become visible in your regular library again.
